Who operates the service
Benchmax is an independently operated project and is not currently a separate legal entity. This policy describes how the people operating Benchmax handle information in this service.
Information the service handles
Account information includes your email address, authentication identifier, workspace membership and, when you use a connected sign-in provider, the identity information it supplies. Workspace information includes files, datasets, benchmark configurations, agent conversations, model outputs, scores and API credentials you provide.
The service and its infrastructure providers also process technical information such as IP addresses, request details, timestamps and errors to operate and protect the service. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate you, maintain your workspace, process the tasks you request, display results, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse and respond to support requests.
Providers and sharing
Supabase provides authentication. Hosting, storage and email providers process information needed to run the service and deliver sign-in messages. Using Google or another sign-in method shares authentication information with that provider.
When you use the Benchmax agent or run model evaluations, relevant prompts, files and task data may be sent to the configured AI providers, including Anthropic or models accessed through OpenRouter. The data those providers receive is subject to their own policies. Review their practices before submitting confidential information.
Workspace members can access content permitted by their role. Content you publish is available to others. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to investigate abuse or protect the service.
Cookies and browser storage
Benchmax uses authentication cookies to keep you signed in. The sign-in form also remembers your email address and verification progress in the current browser tab for up to 30 minutes. This progress record does not contain your verification code. It is cleared when you sign in or sign out. Blocking browser storage may prevent authentication from working.
Retention and your choices
Workspace information remains stored to support the service and its version history. Removing content from a view does not necessarily remove every stored version or backup. Contact us to request access, correction, export, deletion or account closure; we may need to verify that the request is yours.
Some information may need to be retained for security, legal obligations or backups. We will explain relevant limits when responding to a request. Signing out clears your session in that browser; it does not delete your account or workspace.
Changes to this policy
We will publish updates here and change the date above when our practices change.
